Giggles Fee Structure and Enrolment
Our hourly rate is $7.00. For 3, 4 and 5 year olds the 20 hours ECE scheme will reduce your base fees depending on how many free hours you choose to use. You can use up to six hours per day.
When you use the 20 hours ECE scheme, we also have an optional charge of $1.20 per hour which is used to cover the cost of afternoon tea, pōtae and togs, sunblock. You may choose not to pay the optional charge instead providing these extras for your own tamaiti.
The fees you pay may be reduced further if you qualify for a childcare subsidy from Work and Income.
Giggles will provide you with an invoice on a weekly basis. You can receive this via email or on paper.
All fees must be paid by automatic payment one week in advance to the following bank account:
Giggles Learning Centre Ltd ANZ 01 0487 0237287 00
Giggles Learning Centre is closed for up to two weeks over the Christmas period and one week around Matariki (during the July school holidays). Fees will not be charged during this time.
50% of the full whānau fee must be paid when your child is absent from the centre on enrolled days due to illness or a planned holiday.
Your child’s place will only be held by payment of 50% of the full whānau fee for up to three weeks of absence due to illness or planned holiday unless otherwise negotiated with management.
To cover additional staffing costs, a late fee of $20.00 up to the first five minutes and $20.00 each fifteen minutes thereafter will be charged when parents collect children after closing.
Giggles Learning Centre reserves the right to consider requests for fee payment arrangements outside the above in extenuating circumstances and on an individual basis.
Non payment of fees may result in referral to a collection agency after two weeks of non-payment. Ongoing non-payment may result in a child’s exclusion from the centre.
